Brother Jon turned me on to this site last year when he discovered the Deep Dark Woods there. It's music blog out of Chicago that has bands come in and play a few songs live. Not only are the the videos of the performances posted, but you can also the download mp3's for free.
Both First Aid Kit and the Alabama Shakes have performed on Hear Ya in the last year. I can't recommend these bands enough. Last weekend I got both of their recent CD's and they are fantastic.
I couldn't agree with you more about Alabama Shakes and First Aid Kit. Earlier this year I was listening to FAK almost everyday.
