My heart goes out to Adam Yauch's family. Personally, I can't help but to feel today is the end of an era. Tonight my husband and myself toasted the life and music of MCA with a few drinks and endless searches of YouTube music videos and interviews. The Beastie Boys were quite literally an important part of the soundtrack of my teens and twenties. The idea of no more new Beastie Boy music is a little too surreal to take in. Thank you for posting. My gratitude Adam Yauch for the influential role he played in shaping my love of music. RIP to the great MCA.
