Frankie Lee, Country

I like this song. It's been stuck in my head all week:

Frankie Lee is a rising star on the Minneapolis music scene (not to be confused with the two Frankie Lees mentioned in Wikipedia, his star hasn't risen to that place, but soon). He's a midwestern boy (as far as I can tell), and his first record, Middle West, came out this spring. The songs I have listened to have a very cool alt-country vibe. His songs can be heard here. He did an in-studio session on The Current's Local Show back in April (worth a listen). I hope to make it to one of his shows around town this August. You will definately be hearing more about this guy.
