Life on Mars

Yesterday in the news NASA stated that their Curiousity rover found evidence that may support there was once life on Mars.

Also yesterday, David Bowie's new album, The Next Day, was relased in the United States. Conincidence? Unlikely.

The new album is, of course, great. It has been streaming for free on itunes for the past two weeks (sorry for the untimely blogging of that fact), and I've really enjoyed listening to it. So far, my favorite song is Dirty Boys (track #2), mainly because of its traditional Bowie sound offset to sweet saxophones. I heard The Next Day playing over the speakers at the Fetus today, and I'm not convinced that just one track will remain my favorite... too many to choose from!
