Willie Nelson - I Never Cared for You

This is a great video that I've been wanting to post for a long time but embedding was always disabled in YouTube.  Apparently it is from a movie that was made in 1998 of Willie performing 10 songs from his Teatro album appropriately titled Willie Nelson at the Teatro, which maddeningly is not available on DVD (because if it was I would have just bought it 10 minutes ago).

Like a lot of Willie's best work he's backed up by Emmylou Harris on this one. Also playing with him is Daniel Lanois (The guy playing guitar with the Spanish cowboy had on. He produced Teatro and wrote "The Maker".  He's also done a lot of other amazing things, but you'll just have to read all about that on Wikipedia), Willie's sister Bobby on piano and Willie's long time harmonica player Mickey Raphael.

The Teatro theater (the same one pictured on the album cover) is in Oxnard, California.  Years ago I was driving up the Pacific Coast Highway from LA to SF and drove right past it.  I love the part of this view where the camera enters through the street and passes through the lobby on the way into the main theater where Willie is performing.

PS - Is it me, or does the Blogger interface become a bigger pain in the ass to deal with each passing day?
