If you like Sufjan Stevens, then I think you'll probably also like Welcome Wagon, and their debut album Welcome to the Welcome Wagon, released on Astmattic Kitty Records and produced by none other than Petoskey's own Sufjan Stevens.
Wikipedia describes Welcome Wagon as a "gospel/indie pop band from Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York" consisting of "Presbyterian minister Vito Aiuto and his wife, Monique."

This is the Vito of "Vito's Ordination Song" which is one of the highlights of the Say Yes to Michigan album. It was also the song I was listening to on my headphones while walking with Kato at Warner park on a sunny winter day when I realized for the first time the Sufjan Stevens was for realz.
