Reflektor = Happy Halloween

I LOVE this album! I love Halloween. This has been a very happy week for me. But seriously, I LOVE this album! While Arcade Fire's first two albums are securely my first favorites (they're awesome, but also tap nostalgic feelings a new album cannot replace), I might like it more than the Suburbs. Who knows, only time can tell. Perhaps Arcade Fire's pre-album release marketing job helped to elevate my listening enjoyment (many of the tracks were already familiar), but I really enjoyed some of the new tracks I had not heard before (i.e. Flashbulb Eyes). It's haunting, mystical, rhythmic, and borders on 70's dance. This was the perfect week for them to release this album.
