I heard that Bobby Vee went onstage with Bob Dylan at the AmericanaramA show in St. Paul. JB can confirm that accuracy of this (she was there, after all). Apparently, Vee lives in St.Cloud and Dylan played in Vee's band in Fargo, ND before either hit it big. Check out this awesome video of one or Vee's biggest hits, it's pretty awesome:
I am headed to AmericanaramA in Chicago tomorrow. I'm excited, even though I doubt Vee will make another appearance.
Bobby Vee was in the audience, and Dylan played Suzie Baby in tribute. He didn't go on stage. Beautiful. Also, I spent the fifth of July on the beautiful Watab Lake (near Avon, MN), the lake Bobby Vee and his wife live on. Bobby Vee has always been a local legend, and a family member's favorite neighbor.
