This artist got my attention during the election season with his song 'Same Love'. While hip hop is not my favorite genre, I enjoy his music and the things he has to say. I love both these videos--both for so many different reasons.

ADDED 2/13/13: I just saw the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performance on NPR's Tiny Desk via Youtube. The three song set list includes the two above songs, and "Can't Hold Us". All three songs are worth the watch.
I couldn't help but to edit my above post after finding the Tiny Desk Conert performance from Macklemore. Awesome.
