2011 Top 20 Albums

The new year is just around the corner, and that means the 2011 lists are popping up all over the place. I can't help but to think about what albums were my favorite from the past year- many of which were well represented on a previous post by blogger dwstaple. Off the top of my head, I would say my favorite albums of this year included Wilco's The Whole Love, Danger Mouse and Danield Lupe's Rome, Tune-Yards' Whokill, and TV on the Radio's Nine Types of Light. Out of curiosity, I did a query in iTunes in the Recently Played playlist to find out what my favorite albums really were. As it turns out, none of those albums showed up on my top 100 songs played this year...
