tUnE-yArDs played last night at First Avenue to a sold out crowd. The show can best be described as 'awesome'. The crowd was dancing, loud, and loving the show. tUnE-yArDs killed it, and showed a lot of love for Minneapolis! I wish I could see the show again. Out of the four of us who went, only two knew her music. The other two immediately became tUnE-yArDs fans! My favorite song of the show was Powa. This sexy, pulsing, funky song had the whole crowd rocking.
My only criticism of the band is that it is extremely annoying to type tUnE-yArDs. From now on, I will be typing their name 'tuneyards'.
